Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Amrit Travels, we strive to provide a transparent and reliable travel booking experience. Cancellations, payments, and refunds are subject to these terms and supplier policies where applicable.
Last Updated: March 31, 2026. By confirming a booking with Amrit Travels, the traveler acknowledges and agrees to the refund and cancellation terms outlined below.
1. Payment Policy
- For flight-inclusive packages, 100% payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
- For land-only packages where departure is within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- For land-only packages where departure is more than 30 days away, 50% payment is required to confirm the booking and the remaining 50% must be paid at least 28 days prior to departure.
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Prices may change if flight fares or hotel rates change before the booking is confirmed.
2. Cancellation Policy
- More than 28 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- Within 28 days of departure: 100% of the package cost will be charged as cancellation fees and the booking will be non-refundable.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through email or official communication channels.
Flights and other non-refundable services are subject to the cancellation policies of the respective airlines and suppliers. In such cases, airline cancellation charges or supplier penalties will apply in addition to the above charges.
3. No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive for the trip or to join the tour on the scheduled departure date will be treated as a no-show. In such cases, 100% of the package cost will be charged and no refund will be provided.
4. Hotel Check-in and Check-out Policy
Standard hotel check-in time is generally between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, and check-out time is usually between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, depending on the hotel. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. The company cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out unless it is pre-booked and confirmed.
5. Fixed Departure Policy
Fixed departure tours operate with a minimum number of participants. If the minimum group size required for the departure is not achieved, the tour operator reserves the right to reschedule the departure date, offer an alternative tour option, or provide a suitable adjustment to the travel plan. In such cases, travelers will be informed in advance.
6. Force Majeure Policy
The company shall not be responsible for any delay, change, or cancellation of services caused by circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances may include natural disasters, weather conditions, flight cancellations, political disturbances, pandemics, government restrictions, or any other unforeseen events. In such cases, any additional costs incurred due to changes or disruptions will have to be borne by the traveler.
7. Personal Expenses Policy
The package price includes only the services specifically mentioned in the itinerary. Any personal expenses such as meals not included in the package, tips, laundry, telephone calls, room service, mini-bar usage, optional tours, or other personal services will be borne directly by the traveler.
8. Travel Insurance Policy
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers to cover unexpected situations such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, travel delays, or loss of baggage. The company shall not be responsible for any expenses arising due to the absence of travel insurance.
9. Passport and Visa Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months from the date of travel and that all necessary visas and travel documents are obtained before departure. The company will not be responsible for any issues arising due to incomplete documentation, visa rejection, or denial of boarding by airlines or immigration authorities.
10. Airline Schedule Change Policy
Flight schedules and timings are subject to change by the airline without prior notice. The company will not be responsible for any changes, delays, or cancellations made by the airline. Any additional costs arising from such changes may need to be borne by the traveler.
11. Service Utilization Clause
If a traveler chooses not to use any of the services included in the package (such as hotel stays, transfers, sightseeing tours, or meals), no refund or adjustment will be provided for the unused portion of the package.
12. Itinerary Change Clause
The tour operator reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, hotel selection, transportation, or sightseeing schedule due to operational requirements, weather conditions, supplier availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any alternative arrangements provided will be of similar standard wherever possible.
13. Refund Processing Policy
Any applicable refunds after cancellation will be processed within 7 to 14 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The refund timeline may vary depending on the policies of airlines, hotels, and other service providers involved in the booking.
14. Cancellation by Amrit Travels
In rare situations where a tour cannot operate due to operational reasons, insufficient participation, or unforeseen circumstances, Amrit Travels reserves the right to reschedule the departure date, offer an alternative travel option of similar value, or provide a refund for the refundable portion of the booking.
Amrit Travels will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by the traveler, such as independently booked flights, visa fees, travel insurance, or personal arrangements.
15. Service Charges
Consultation fees, itinerary planning charges, and service fees charged by Amrit Travels are non-refundable, as these represent professional services already rendered.
